At present, we have five different class levels: A, B, C, D, and S, where class 'A' is the lowest level or beginners and class 'D' is the highest level. A group of students who are average because of their recent arrival from Tibet are classified as class 'S' which is a special class. These students do not have to study as many subjects as the other levels do; instead they spend more time on religious texts and ritual practices since they have to start from the basics.

Tibetan, English, Chinese and Nepali languages are taught along with major subjects like History of Buddhism, Science and Mathematics. The students engage in memorizing the scriptures every morning under the guidance of the teachers. The syllabi are taught based on books of reputed schools of Nepal and Tibet. We are also using some books acquired from other countries. Classes start from 8 a.m. and run until 8:30 p.m. six days a week. All students are monks aged between 8-18 years.
